THE CORRESPONDENCES

The basic correspondences in this interpretation are between:

  1. The degrees of the zodiac and the lines of the I Ching hexagrams
  2. The Eight Fold path and the I Ching trigrams (and to the zodiac)
  3. The 12 colours and 12 zodiac signs to the trigrams of the I Ching

There are 384 lines in the I Ching. There are 360 degrees in the zodiac.

There are 24 neutral lines, and we are left with a correspondence of 360 lines to 360 degrees.

Each hexagram occupies 360 degrees of the Zodiac and each line occupies 1 degree.
